Sheree La Puma-Watson

Sheree La Puma-Watson, a third generation Angelino,is the Creative Lead for The Lourdes Foundation. An award-winning Author, Producer, and Social Media Strategist, Sheree received a Bachelor of Arts – Major in English/Minor in Writing from California State University Northridge, and anMFA in critical studies/writing from The California Institute of the Arts (Cal Arts). Published in multi-genres, Shereespent the last decade working with locally based non-profits, including, Help the Children, L.A. Toy Loan, Inner City Arts, CAP (Community Arts Partnership), Real Life Church, and Single Mother’s Outreach.

In 2012, Sheree traveled to Ghana, Africa to meet with award-winning advocate and child trafficking survivor, James Kofi Annan. Changed by the experience, she spent the next two writing on the subject. Passionate about women and children’s rights, Sheree hopes to reach out to those without a voice.
