Megan Thomas is the Project Director for The Lourdes Foundation, the global organization, which aims to empower today’s youth into tomorrow’s leaders. As Program Director, Megan spends her time sorting out the vision, strategy, funding, and growth plans for the organization. Working well under pressure, she earned a BA in communications from UCLA in 2 ½ years and has a strong desire to promote humanitarian causes positively impacting the lives of those in need.
A native and current resident of California, she comes from a family dedicated to public service: her mother is an elementary school teacher; and her father is a firefighter. Growing up in a household focused on others, made working in public service a natural.
Prior to joining The Lourdes Foundation, Megan worked both in PR and as a Model signed with elite. Seeing others lose themselves to societal pressures made her resolve to make a difference in people’s lives. She hopes to develop programs that empower women.
